Denoise AI
Has Adobe fixed noise in photos forever?
Technology has been exponentially evolving over the last several years. The amount of advances in even just the last 365 days has been incredible. But, Lightroom has really done something that is going to change the results of a lot of photographers' work. In the newest update, Adobe has added Denoise AI to its ever growing suite of functions. As soon as I saw this, I immediately had to see how it faired against some of the competing software out on the market. I am a huge proponent of less noise is better, and I do an awful lot to make sure that my photography is clean. Being able to see results like this is unbelievable.
While the differences between these two are subtle, there is absolutely a difference. To myself and many other photographers out there, this is a huge leg up and will allow more and more photographs to see the light of day instead of dying on a hard drive in a drawer. If you are someone like me who thinks this is as big of a deal as I do, make sure you go update your version of Lightroom and try it out for yourself.
I will be pushing some more boundaries and seeing what it can do over the next few days and will keep y’all posted. But for now, thank you Adobe this is a huge step in the right direction and in keeping my editing programs within the Adobe Suite.
